What is H3 Tritium and how does it work? Tritium is a hydrogen (H) atom that has two neutrons in the nucleus, in addition to its single proton, giving it an atomic weight near three (chemical symbol: H3). Tritium is produced naturally in the upper atmosphere and its common form is in water. Tritium gas is also produced in reactor for diverse commercial purposes.
